The House Museum José Benlliure was formerly the home-study of the Valencian painter José Benlliure. Born in the district of El Cabanyal, Benlliure was also the brother to the famous sculptor Mariano Benlliure.

The House Museum José Benlliure keeps the aesthetics of the Nineteenth Century that were of medium-high society. Here you will find many paintings of the artist and his son.

The House Museum is divided into three parts: the house, the study- which is of a Nineteenth-Century style, and a beautiful romantic garden. The ground floor recreates the atmosphere of the typical bourgeois home of the Restoration period.

The  House Museum José Benlliure is a perfect place to visit in Valencia for those people who love art.
