Gay Pride Valencia

June 28th is International LGBT Day 2017. The LGBT community is steadily growing in Valencia and with it so do the celebrations! On this typically bright and colorful day in Valencia we celebrate the progress society is making towards LGBT equality.

The program for Gay Pride Valencia 2017 has yet to be announced but stay tuned because we will be posting all the information you need. Keep in mind that even when it is not Gay Pride in Valencia the city hosts many local places to enjoy the atmosphere.

LGBT Friendly Places in Valencia

Although the International LGBT Day is the 28th of June, in Valencia there are many hot spots to continue the celebrations throughout the year. Wondering if Valencia is LGBT friendly – don’t, because we can assure you it is. A simple walk through the streets and you will see LGBT couples holding expressing their love for each other on any given day.

The Valencia gay scene is incredibly inviting and friendly, visit Valencia and some of our hot spots for LGBT action such as Nunca Digo No, Bubu, and Cross while in town.

LGBT Film Festival

Mostra La Ploma is a LGBT film festival in Valencia. The films are dedicated to LGBT documentaries, and short films. This year it celebrates its 2nd year running; a true showcase of Valencia pride. Although the program has not been released our sources say that this year’s edition will host a section dedicated to feature films. Activities such as literature, and plastic arts will a spaced designed as a cultural component to the LGBT Festival in Valencia. In addition, doors will be opened in different cities around the Valencian community.
