Cabanyal beach is one of the main beaches of Valencia. It is the last beach in the south of the city, with a length of 1200 meters and nearly 200 meters wide.
Its fine and golden sand, its leisure and sports facilities and the pleasant climate make of Cabanyal a very busy beach all the year. Moreover, the promenade area is one of the best places for nightlife in the summer, since it has many bars and nightclubs.
In the beginning, Cabanyal beach was a fishermen neighbourhood, with houses made of reeds and straw.
