The Monforte Gardens, in Spanish “Jardines de Monforte“, were designed in the Nineteenth Century. They are of neoclassical style and have many ponds, resting areas, and lots of architectural details that contribute to one of the must-sees in Valencia.  It’s one of the many parks in Valencia.

Monforte Gardens belonged to the Marquis of San Juan and many of its details were made upon his request. Such requests include a small pavilion located at the entrance of the garden.

After the death of the Marquis of San Juan, in 1871, the ownership of the gardens passed to the Monforte family, where the garden adopted the origin of its name.

This beautiful garden has beautiful elements that make it one of the main gardens of Valencia. Such elements include nine female figures, allegorical paintings, marble lions, and the spectacular views from the balconies.
